Punch Owl -Thank You Card

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to stop by and share this cute card with you. Isn't he the cutest owl ever?! :) I used the fabulous Spring Time DSP from the Occasion Mini Catalog. The fence was done with Chocolate Chip inker and the sky was done with the Baja Breeze inker. Very easy and simple. The owl is punched with Stampin' Up! Owl punch. The bloom image is from the Easter Blooms stamp set, also from the Occasion Mini Catalog. Any questions, please do not hesitate to email me. Thanks. Liz

Thank You Card Tutorial

Hi Everyone,

This is the tutorial for yesterday's post, that I promised.

Background: Take a Q-tip and fill it with Bashful Blue pastel and chalk it across the card stock diagonally. Continue with all three colors. Now turn it around and do the opposite, also diagonally. Once you have chalked all the colors, with a tissue, remove a little of the chalk in order to get the smooth look, as shown in the photo. The next step is to emboss an image randomly on the card stock with Versamark and clear embossing powder. Then set it with the heat gun.

Front: Emboss stamped image with Versamark, Marina Mist ink, and clear embossing powder. Set with heat gun. Now with a Q-tip, chalk the flower with So Saffron and outline the stem with Old Olive. Finally, add Basic Pearls and assemble the card.

Supplies:
-Wedding Suite stamp set
-Marina Mist ink
-Versamark
-Whisper White Card Stock
-Marina Mist card stock
-Pastels: Old Olive, Bashful Blue, and So Saffron
-5/8 in. Marina Mist satin ribbon
-Basic Pearls
-Round Corner Punch
